Sanctions policy

Empire Passports does not provide services where doing so would breach applicable sanctions. We do not assist with concealing identity, the origin of funds or ownership interests to avoid a restriction.

Screening

Our screening process considers relevant United Nations, European Union and United States sanctions lists, including those administered by the Office of Foreign Assets Control, together with the UK Sanctions List.

The restrictions that apply depend on the people, entities, jurisdictions and services involved. Payment providers, submitting professionals and government authorities may also apply their own acceptance criteria.

Further review

A potential screening match may require additional information. A similar name alone does not establish that someone is subject to sanctions.

We may pause or decline service while a relevant concern is reviewed. Where a restriction prohibits an engagement or transaction, we will not proceed. We may be unable to disclose information where the law prevents us from doing so.

Your responsibilities

Provide accurate information about your identity, citizenship, residence, source of funds and any person or entity involved in a payment. Tell us about relevant changes during your engagement.

If you believe information used in a review is incorrect, raise it with the Empire Passports team. Correcting a record does not override a legal restriction or another organisation's decision.
